Nativity depends on the volunteers hours our parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, alumni and friends of the school provide. Our volunteer activities cover a wide variety of interests and offer options that can fit into everyone’s schedule – even of the busiest working parent (inside or outside the home). As a non-public school, we need everyone’s involvement, and we strongly urge every family to volunteer. Keep in mind that all volunteers must complete Virtus Training.
Our Virtus and volunteer programs are coordinated through parish staff. Joanne Rachel is our Safe Environment Coordinator. If you have any questions, please email Joanne at email@example.com.
Your volunteer hours help contribute to the programs we can offer our students and our students look forward to seeing you at school.
We welcome 1-2 VIRTUS trained volunteers to help the Recess Supervisor monitor students outside at recess and help ensure their safety. Volunteer either from 11:15am - 12:15pm with K-5 grade students or at 12:45 - 1:15pm with 6-8 grade students. You can even volunteer for both shifts!
Have fun seeing students in the lunchroom while assisting with the lunch process, cleaning tables between lunch shifts, and helping students with dismissal. We welcome 1-4 VIRTUS trained volunteers for whatever time you can spare during the lunch shift. Students in 3-5 grade eat 11:43-12:07, K-2 grade eat12:14-12:38, and 6-8 grade eat 12:38-1:00.
In the library, VIRTUS trained volunteers can help students find library books, assist with check out, and help keep the library tidy.
We welcome VIRTUS trained volunteers to join students in the art room to assist artists with clean up and set up and have fun with everything in-between! Click on the Sign Up Here link to view teacher specific information.
